September

Haven Public Library Posted on September 2, 2025 by LibraryStaffSeptember 2, 2025

Book Sale time is approaching! We will begin taking donated items the last week of September.

We have a new face at the library! Annie Schwartz is our new Children’s Librarian. She joined us in August, and is off to a great start. Annie will be having Toddler Time on Wednesday mornings at 10:30. She has had a packed room the last few weeks, but we always have room for more! If you need more information on this event feel free to reach out to us here at the library. Make sure to check our Face Book page for weekly reminders!

Annie will also be setting up a come and create craft this month. Be on the lookout for that beginning the week of the 15th.

Book Discussion books are ready to be picked up.

September’s selection is All the Children Are Home by Patry Francis. This novel is set in late 1950’s and thru the 1960’s. It is a story of foster care and a family taking on a indigenous girl. This book is a moving testament to the power of human courage. The discussion is held at the library on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m..
