May is a busy month here at the library. We will begin our sign up for Summer Reading on May 7th. We encourage kids of all ages to come in and see whats new this summer. We have made changes to the program to hopefully make it easier and more fun than ever! We also have a fun summer challenge for Adults. Reading and tracking will begin May 21st. Look for more information to come on our extra activities for kids that run the month of June.

Megan will have a special Mother’s Day toddler time on May 7th. She will then take a break until June so that she can get prepared for all summer activities.

Friends will be continuing their book discussion group thru the summer.Held the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.. here at the library.

April Happenings

Spring is upon us here at the library. Megan will be hosting a come and go craft for all ages. It will set up beginning April 9th and be set up thru the 25th. She will have everything for you to create your own flower garden using construction paper and your own imagination.

Book Discussion will be April 16th at 7:00 p.m. the selection is My Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Picoult. Copies are available to be picked up now.

Toddler time will continue on Tuesday’s at 2:30.

We are continuing our toddler time on Tuesday afternoons. Join Megan and her little group for a fun afternoon. This event is at 2:30 every Tuesday. Make sure to check our Face Book page for all the details.

Book Discussion this month will be March 19th at 7:00 p.m.. The selection is The Underground by Colson Whitehead. Pick up your copy today.

Things have been busy here at our little library.  We are busy getting 100 new children’s books on the shelves for little readers. We were recipient of the Brownstone Book Fund. Make sure to check out our Face Book post to see a sampling of the books we received.

Megan is still hosting toddler time on Tuesday’s at 2:30. This is a great opportunity for Moms and young ones to enjoy some time here at the the library.

A Valentine come and go craft will be set up February 7th thru 14th. Come in and make a Valentine tin can craft. This activity is for all ages.

Friends of the Library will host a book discussion on February, 20th at 7:00 p.m.. The selection this month is Girls in White Dresses by Jennifer Close.

Join us for fun activities during the month of January.

Megan will once again be hosting Toddler Time. This is held on Tuesday afternoons at 2:30. She has fun activities for kids ages 1-4. This is also a great time for Mom’s and caregivers to socialize. Come join in on the fun!

Friends of the Library book discussion will be January 16th. There is still time to grab a copy and get reading. The selection this month is All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr.
